Tuff 4x4 is the 2018 Ultra4 Europe champion

King of Poland, won by Axel Burmann, has awarded the 2018 title of Ultra4 Europe. The Portuguese Jorge Araujo and Diogo Mendes of Tuff 4x4 team won the title. Before start of 2019 season,full of interesting news, the best European teams will be engaged in America at King of the Hammers.

With King of Poland, new entry in the Ultra4 Europe championship, a wonderful 2018 season ended with the best European teams competing to win the European Championship title. It all started in May with King of Francewon by the Englishman Jim Marsden with the Portuguese Helder da Rocha at his side. The second race took place in Great Britain, in Kirton, with the Spanish Jesu Pato and Cesar Beltran, who finished first. After the summer break, Portugal was protagonist with an amazing competition; Jorge Araujo and Diogo Mendes win the race.

In October, the Ultra4 Europe 2018 season ended in Poland with the King of Poland. This first edition immediately welcomed the favor and approval of the teams. The race was won by the Belgian Axel Burmann and Tom Olieslagers.

Four races and four different winners demonstrating the high level of the 4400 class drivers and also an exciting championship that only after the last race has decreed the winner who has been crowned thanks to the best placings.

 

Here are the Ultra4 Europe 2018 champions:

 

- 4400 Unlimited: Jorge Araujo and Diogo Mendes (Portugal)

In the Ulimited class, Axel Burmann (B) is second in the 2018 championship and Cedric Porcher (F) is third.

Ultra4 Europe is very interesting because each location is different from the other as for the difficulty of the track and as for the type of terrain that making the championship one of the most complete in Europe and 2019 will be even more interesting with the new location for the King of France and with the new King of Spain. Finally, Ultra4 Europe will back to its original home. The Ultra4 King of Britain 2019 will be running a monster course around the terrain offered by Walters Arena.

- King of France: 21 - 22 June, Montalieu Vercieu

- King of Britain: 19 - 20 July, Glynneath

- King of Portugal: 6 - 7 September Vimioso

- King of Poland: 11 - 12 October, Olszyna

 

Before thinking about the Ultra4 Europe 2019 season, there will be an important event for the best European teams: the King of the Hammers in Califorina. In fact, in Portugal Dave Cole has announced that for the next three years, the best European drivers will be able to take part in the King of the Hammers thanks to Ultra4, supported by Yukon Gear & Axle and Jimmy's 4x4, which will pay the transport costs of cars. This is a unique opportunity for the European teams that can compete with the American best drivers and test themselves with the toughest race ever.
